— OS history
What’s new
The K.O. II has grown a lot since launch in November 2023 — song mode, resampling, USB audio and the arpeggiator all arrived as free updates. Here is what each OS added, linked to where the guide covers it. This guide follows TE’s guide for OS 2.5 — use the update utility if you are behind (see updating the OS).
OS 2.5.1
Fixes for OS 2.5
- Fixes a crash when cropping long samples and choppy USB audio from some Android phones. In the guide →

rev). In the guide → - Choose the recording sample rate: 26.25, 32 or 46.875 kHz (codes 500–502). In the guide →
- Mono samples can be up to 40 seconds long. In the guide →
- Equal-length auto-chop (
EQU) alongside attack mode. In the guide → - Arpeggiator: hold TIMING and several pads in KEYS mode. In the guide →

- Per-pad pattern copy and paste: hold a pad with SHIFT + C / SHIFT + D. In the guide →
- Erase fader automation for one assignment with ERASE + FADER + a pad. In the guide →
- Timing correct can shift all of a pad’s notes by a tick with − / +. In the guide →
- Hold FX during hands-free resampling to tweak the effect live. In the guide →
- MIDI: CC 64 sustain, CC 12/13 for the effect’s X and Y, identity request over TRS. In the guide →
- Delay, reverb and chorus keep more dry signal; constant-power panning for mono sounds. In the guide →
- Song position pointer now counts from the song start, so DAW playheads line up. In the guide →

OS 2.0.1
Song mode and scene refinements
